Client: DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer
Project Name: DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) Intranet Portal Development for the DC Department of General Services (DGS)

Scope: OCTO leveraged our team to develop a website for an Intra-District customer, DGS. Objective and requirements were to revise an existing sustainable energy intranet site with a fresh new look and design. We performed at least 12 hour-long requirements gathering/ideation sessions with appropriate other stakeholder agencies. As a result of the sessions, we developed and created an analysis report on priorities for the Intranet features, design preferences and other input. The report included:

• Top Requested Features and Functionality (i.e. Calendar,Widgets, Ability to Sort Documents, etc.)
• Top tasks that agencies wished employees could complete online
• Specific requirements for forms
• Ideas on design and design flexibility per agency

Next, we designed and developed two sets of wireframes and design concepts based on approved OCTO-approved features and functionality pulled from Analysis Report. Wireframes included:

• Portal Home Page
• Agency Home Page
• Landing Page
• Wireframe for Each Feature/Content Type Selected

We provided OCTO with all design assets in the final approved design in the format specified by OCTO including:

• Images
• Graphics
• URLs for contributed modules included in the final design
• CSS
• Colors
